Journalism Intern — DeepTape LLC

DeepTape LLC is hiring a part-time Journalism Intern to support real-time financial news coverage. This is a hands-on remote role, ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in financial journalism and media.

Schedule: ~17.5 hours/week
- 7:30–9:00 AM: market-open prep coverage
- 2:00–4:00 PM: market-close wrap coverage
- Plus one in-person meeting per week in the Chicago area

Pay: $300/week

Location: Remote, with a weekly in-person meeting (Chicago-area based required)

What you'll do:
- Assist with real-time market news coverage during open and close windows
- Help prepare written content covering market-moving stories
- Work directly with the founder on day-to-day editorial coverage, including a weekly in-person check-in

Who we're looking for:
- Current student or recent graduate in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Strong writing skills and interest in financial markets
- Based in or able to commute to the Chicago area for weekly in-person meetings
- Reliable and able to work the specified remote morning/afternoon schedule
