Overview:

Trenton Makers is a STEM education program designed to introduce students to technology, entrepreneurship, and career-focused learning. Trenton Makers is seeking motivated candidates for the Education Management Internship to support the planning, organization, and development of educational programs for students interested in areas such as coding, artificial intelligence, software engineering, app development, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship.

This internship provides practical experience in education administration, program management, student engagement, and organizational planning. Interns will help support educational initiatives while learning how STEM programs are developed, coordinated, and improved.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and organizing STEM education programs and student activities.
  • Support the coordination of educational programs, instructors, and student participation.
  • Help develop schedules, program plans, and organizational materials.
  • Assist with tracking student participation and program progress.
  • Support communication between students, instructors, schools, and program leadership.
  • Research educational programs and best practices for STEM learning.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve student engagement and program effectiveness.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to educational program operations.
  • Support outreach efforts with schools and other educational organizations.
  • Collaborate with Trenton Makers leadership on education-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Interest in education management, STEM education, student programs, or educational leadership.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or other organizational tools is a plus.
  • Interest in technology, entrepreneurship, or STEM education is a plus.
