SEASONAL EVENT STAFF - ADULT TRICK OR TREAT EVENT


Are you looking for a fun way to earn extra cash before the holidays? We are hiring Seasonal Event Staff for our exciting Adult Trick or Treat Event! 

Join us Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays from October 2nd through November 1st as we bring this spook-tacular event to life! Must have consistent weekend availability through the first weekend in November. No wine knowledge is required; all training is provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (including, but not limited to):

  • Reports directly to the Retail + Wine Club Manager 
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces and food offerings
  • Engage with customers to ensure a fun, safe, and festive atmosphere
  • Provide directions, answer questions, and assist guests as needed
  • Help with various event-related tasks, such as guiding groups through stations, managing lines, guest check-in, event support, bar backing, property cleanliness, trash removal, parking cars, and providing general customer service
  • Supports winery sales by promoting products with enthusiasm 
  • Comes to every shift on time and ready to work hard
  • Accurately records sales through POS (Square)
  • Adheres to all inventory and operating procedures
  • Ensures adherence to house policies, event policies, and safety protocols
  • Performs other related duties as assigned 

EXPECTATIONS: 

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be available to work most Friday nights and weekends during the event dates (10/2 - 11/1)
  • Must be reliable and responsible, and have consistent access to transportation
  • Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
  • The ability to efficiently function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is required
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, and engaging demeanor to both customers and staff
  • Takes initiative, anticipates needs, flags issues, and suggests improvements 
  • Willing to jump in and help others when needed 
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks without supervision
  • Maintains the Winery Dress Code

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Considerable physical activity
  • Ability to lift and carry a case of wine - 40lbs 
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and at night
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for long periods
  • Ability to walk, reach, bend, lift, and twist

LOCATION: Onsite, Chaddsford Winery, 632 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA 19317

POSITION TYPE: Seasonal, Temporary

SCHEDULE: Scheduled shifts may start a few hours before the event begins and end a few hours after the event finishes. Event Hours: Fridays 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Saturdays 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sundays 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
