Position Available
Saw Operator / Material Handler
đź’˛ Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
đź•– Schedule:
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
In this role, you'll spend the majority of your day operating a large industrial Hydmech saw to accurately cut steel to specified lengths. Approximately 80% of your work will involve moving and handling the material you produce, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active throughout the day.
What You'll Do
- Operate an industrial Hydmech saw to cut steel accurately
- Measure and cut material to customer specifications
- Move and organize steel throughout the facility
- Receive, identify, and document incoming materials
- Maintain inventory records and production documentation
- Assist with material ordering and job preparation
- Follow all safety procedures while working with heavy materials and equipment
What We're Looking For
âś” Experience operating industrial saws or heavy cutting equipment
âś” Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch
âś” Forklift or tow motor experience
âś” Strong organizational and time-management skills
âś” Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
âś” Basic mechanical skills for minor troubleshooting
âś” Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
