After School Group Leader

Join Team Child Care as a Group Leader in our After School Program serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Hillsborough School District for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond.

This is a part-time position that primarily works during our afterschool program hours, making it an excellent opportunity for college students, retirees, aspiring teachers, school aides, and individuals who enjoy working with children.   

As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for: 

• Leading fun, age-appropriate enrichment activities with enthusiasm and creativity
• Using positive behavior strategies to support children’s growth and cooperation
• Providing homework assistance and creating a caring, respectful environment
• Ensuring the space is safe, organized, and welcoming

Hours

Position is part-time, Monday to Friday. Scheduling flexibility around college classes may be possible for the right candidate.  The hours range from 1:45 to 6:00pm depending on the program location.
