Arete Educational Consulting is a boutique educational consulting and tutoring company seeking an exceptional Economics Tutor to join our team ASAP.

We are looking for an experienced tutor to support students enrolled in advanced undergraduate and master's-level economics courses. Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background in economics with teaching, TA experience, and/or tutoring experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring for advanced undergraduate and graduate-level economics courses.
  • Explain complex economic theories and quantitative methods in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Assist students with coursework, homework, exam preparation, and research projects.
  • Adapt instruction to each student's learning style and academic goals.
  • Build students' confidence while developing strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or a closely related field.
  • Extensive coursework in upper-level economics.
  • Previous tutoring experience in economics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and responsive.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Economics (completed or in progress).
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for college or graduate-level economics courses.
