About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join a leading provider of aluminum sheet, plate, extrusions, and architectural products serving the automotive, aerospace, commercial transportation, industrial, and building/construction markets. This role supports 24/7 plant operations by planning, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance tasks, plant projects, and project assignments utilizing in-house personnel, outside contractors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Project layout and scope of work development
- Purchase of parts and materials from bill-of-material
- Basic specification design and development of prints
- Submittal of contract bids for quote and award
- Facilitate daily work assignments and projects for maintenance personnel and contractors
- Provide daily schedules, step-by-step plans, and equipment outage schedules
- Provide detailed plans, parts, and materials to Crafts & Schedulers
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure efficient work completion
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution
3 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of CMMS systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work projects
Work Environment
100% onsite in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
