Math Teacher
Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, VT is seeking a Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Demonstrates knowledge of subject(s) through instructional practices
- Familiarity with Common Core curriculum standards
- Ability to teach to a wide range of ability levels and learning styles
- Knowledge in Basic Math through Pre-Calculus
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of learning goals
- Use assessment information to provide students with feedback, which is corrective and informative
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment
- Develop written lesson plans in advance
- Direct and supervise the work of paraprofessionals, volunteers and student teachers assigned to the classroom
- Maintain productive lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues concerning both the academic and social progress of all students
- Implement administrative directives in a professional manner (re: new programs and policies)
- Adhere to all District policies and regulations
