Acts as an advisor to the Executive Director and Public Information Director, making sure they are prepared for the public meetings, coalition building sessions, public speaking events, interviews, etc.

Conducts research and data analysis to determine how to best assist NEDHSA with its mission, goals, and strategies. Also, this role conducts advance work prior to activities, conferences, conventions, events, meetings, and programs and reports challenges, gaps, issues, trends, etc.

Prepares and presents media advisories, backgrounders, interviews and speeches at the discretion of theExecutive Director and the Public Information Director.

Assists the Public Information Director with the design, writing, editing, and speeches at the discretion of the Executive Director and Public Information Director. Assists with the Public Information Director with maintaining the NEDHSA brand by developing, updating, and supporting a communications and public information plan and production of content and materials needed to identify target audiences and how to best reach them so that awareness of NEDHSA mission and services can be built and maintained.

Creates and designs signage, graphics, and logos for activities, events, special initiatives, programs, etc. as well as develops, gathers, research, writes, drafts, edits, and posts accurate content on NEDHSA's website, regularly updating the site with updated information and news. 

Serves as agency web content administrator, including the responsibility of creating and designing agency web pages, optimizing website performance, integrating new and growing technologies, and regularly analyzing analytical data to be shared with the Public Information Director as assigned or requested.

Conducts regional photoshoots/videography, including but not limited to videography and photography for conferences, community events, events, gatherings, meetings, etc.

This role also accurately responds to communication request forms on timely basis, asking questions about authorization, budget, content, deadline, and training. Also, this role coordinates communications, public information, and publicity for agency activities, conferences, events, meetings as assigned, including but not limited to advance planning, set up, break down, tours, and audio-visual presentations.
