Hive Pantry Lead Student Life

Position Type: 

  • FEDERAL WORK STUDY ONLY 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Student employee will help maintain, run, and promote The Hive student pantry, which is a place where students can come to pick up free essentials once every two weeks throughout the school year.
  • Specific duties include:
  • Stocking the pantry, cataloguing goods and monitoring inventories using Microsoft Excel.
  • Helping students familiarize themselves with the pantry's resources and aiding them through the shopping and check-out process.
  • Conducting grocery runs to pick up food and other amenities for the pantry.
  • Promoting The Hive as part of our outreach and awareness campaign.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Capable of keeping organized and updated records.
  • Capable of communicating clearly with vendors, partners, and student clients.
  • Has a driver's license and is willing to undergo van training.

Preferred Qualifications (if any):

  • Experience in customer service.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Weekdays 12-5pm or 3-8pm
