Specialty Lease Administration Analyst

Summary

 The duties of the Specialty Lease Administration Analyst department involve abstracting lease documents, tracking critical dates, analyzing tenant conditions, coordinating the monthly rental charge process, reconciliation audits and other projects/analysis as needed. This is an entry level position requiring daily presence in a corporate office environment located in Syracuse, NY.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review license agreements and related transactions to ensure lease terms, charges, rent, and insurance are accurately recorded.
  • Perform monthly billing, rent roll updates, reconciliations, projections, and reporting while maintaining the integrity of financial data.
  • Monitor critical dates and landlord deadlines associated with license agreements.
  • Communicate with tenants to ensure the accuracy of license terms and rental payments.
  • Partner with corporate teams, mall staff, and Specialty Leasing representatives to ensure accurate information, reporting, and data entry.
  • Analyze reports to ensure data accuracy and support informed business decisions.
  • Manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets, reforecasts, and annual reconciliations.
  • Process License Agreement workflows, including activating agreements and posting charges.
  • Support new property onboarding and troubleshoot unit issues within Yardi.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • AS/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or 1-2 years of experience in business environment 
  • Proficient computer skills, MS Excel experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with an interest in expanding financial analysis skills
  • Ability to multi task and thrive under pressure in a high paced environment 
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
