Speech-Language Pathologist, CF & SLPA | Texas | Up to $60/hr | W-2 | 2026–2027 School Year

Speech Kids NY is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Clinical Fellows (CFs), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for in-person, school-based opportunities with New Braunfels Independent School District and Waller Independent School District for the 2026–2027 school year.

These positions are offered based on school district needs and availability. Both full-time and part-time schedules may be available.

Compensation

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist: $60 per hour
• Clinical Fellow: $55 per hour
• Speech-Language Pathology Assistant: $50 per hour
• W-2 employment
• Paid documentation time

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary according to the employee’s credentials and assigned caseload and may include:

• Provide speech and language services to students in a school-based setting
• Conduct screenings and evaluations, as permitted by professional credentials
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide individual and group therapy services
• Address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication needs
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service documentation
• Prepare progress reports and other required school-based records
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related-service professionals
• Follow district procedures, professional standards, and all applicable state and federal requirements
• Maintain student confidentiality

SLPAs will provide services under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and will perform only those duties permitted under Texas licensing requirements.

Training and Supervision

Speech Kids NY provides onboarding and ongoing support to help employees become familiar with company procedures, school-based documentation, service requirements, and applicable district systems.

Clinical Fellows receive mentorship and supervision from an experienced, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist throughout the Clinical Fellowship process. Supervision is designed to support clinical development and help CFs meet applicable professional and licensing requirements.

SLPAs receive the supervision required under Texas regulations, along with ongoing clinical guidance and support.

Qualifications

Speech-Language Pathologist:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Texas SLP license or eligibility for Texas licensure
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Clinical Fellow:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Eligibility for Texas licensure and Clinical Fellowship placement
• Commitment to completing all required supervision and documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant:

• Current Texas SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
