Standardized Test Tutor

Title: Standardized test (SAT and ACT) and academic tutor 

Location: Denver, CO

Compensation: starting at $64/hr

Employment type: part-time, developing to full-time

Experience level: entry level, training will be provided

Highly respected national tutoring group Advantage Testing of Denver has part-time openings in our Denver office for qualified tutors with a passion for sharing knowledge. You will work one-on-one with students to build strong relationships and guide them to their academic goals. Our tutors encourage students to develop intellectual independence and to meet the highest standards of personal integrity. Your resume should also reflect these qualities.

We are looking for 1-2 people with the following characteristics:

- Has completed undergraduate education from a reputable institution. Completed or in-progress higher education is strongly preferred

- Has excellent teaching ability, experience in education, capacity to connect with people of all ages.

- Has expertise in the verbal and math portions of the SAT/ACT (scoring in the 99th percentile), is able to tutor a broad range of academic subjects (humanities preferred).

- Is available to work on weekends or after school hours (remote and in-person at our Denver office), planning on staying in the area for the next few years.
