Part-Time Youth Program Assistant

Lead dynamic, fun, and educational classes in your area of expertise. Inspire and empower girls to build confidence and embrace new interests. Contribute to making a meaningful impact in the lives of the girls we serve.

 

Assist with recruiting new girls and volunteers, and participate in team check-ins and attend meetings.(once a month) Document workshops and events through photos and notes. Drive the PTen van and supervise girls for programs, trips, and events. Maintain the Clubhouse, including cleaning, chores, and daily snack preparation. Aid with planning and oversee weekend and school break activities and trips. Support ongoing fundraising initiatives and assist with other organizational needs as required.

 

High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Experience working with youth (ages 8–18) in educational, mentoring, or community settings Strong passion for empowering girls and supporting their academic and personal growth Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with youth Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage groups and create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment Organizational skills with ability to track attendance, progress, and program activities Comfortable leading small groups, workshops, or tutoring sessions Ability to model professionalism, accountability, and leadership Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends Spanish-speaking is a plus

 

DAYS:  Monday through Friday (flexible days if needed)

HOURS:  2:30pm to 6pm
