Paralegal

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office is seeking a skilled full-time Paralegal to provide specialized support in prosecuting cases and managing legal operations. This position involves conducting legal research, preparing and editing legal documents, organizing case files, maintaining schedules and court calendars, and assisting attorneys with court preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualified applicants will have an associate degree in paralegal studies, criminal justice, or a related field, along with four years of experience in a law office setting. A paralegal certification is preferred. Candidates must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with attorneys, judges, law enforcement, and court staff, and demonstrate proficiency with standard office software and legal databases. A successful background check is required.

Starting salary for this position is $25.60/hr.
