B2B Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

At St. Louis Music (SLM), we're committed to connecting musicians, educators and retailers with exceptional musical instruments and accessories. As a leading distributor of world-class brands, we believe in supporting the music community through strong partnerships, compelling storytelling and outstanding customer service.

We're looking for a B2B Marketing Coordinator to help strengthen our relationships with our dealer network, music educators and industry partners. This role is ideal for a creative, organized and data-driven marketer who enjoys writing, collaborating across teams and bringing marketing campaigns to life. If you're passionate about music and excited to tell the stories behind the instruments and accessories that inspire musicians every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own St. Louis Music's B2B marketing communications across our band & orchestra, combo, and percussion categories, effectively promoting new product launches, sales initiatives and SLM’s ‘why’ to our dealer network.
  • Develop and execute dealer acquisition initiatives through Salesforce Account Engagement, print marketing campaigns, and sales enablement materials that support the inside and outside sales teams.
  • Partner with brand managers to plan, write, schedule and execute email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Account Engagement.
  • Serve as a key marketing liaison for St. Louis Music's musical accessories vendors, maintaining strong relationships while planning timely and collaborative dealer promotions.
  • Write and distribute press releases for the St. Louis Music website and industry publications.
  • Manage and grow St. Louis Music's LinkedIn presence by sharing company news, highlighting product and brand stories and engaging with the broader music industry community.
  • Assist with marketing and presentation efforts for major industry trade shows and events, including The NAMM Show, TMEA, The Midwest Clinic and others.
  • Support St. Louis Music's partnerships with music retailer and music educator organizations, including AIMM, NASMD, and other key industry associations.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze marketing metrics and provide recommendations that improve engagement, lead generation and overall marketing effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines creativity with strong attention to detail and balances compelling storytelling with measurable results.

Must have:

  • Exceptional marketing copywriting, editing and communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories about our company, brands and instruments across multiple channels.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple brands, campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A data-driven mindset and enthusiasm for measuring campaign performance, interpreting analytics and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across marketing, sales and brand management teams.
  • A genuine passion for music and a commitment to supporting music education, music retailers and the musicians they serve.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including graphic design, photo editing, and/or video production.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) or similar email marketing tools.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Why This Role Matters

Strong relationships are the foundation of St. Louis Music's business. Our dealer network, music educators and industry partners rely on us not just for exceptional instruments and accessories, but for the communication and support that help them succeed.

When our B2B marketing is clear, timely and compelling, dealers stay engaged, sales teams have the tools they need, and the musicians at the end of the chain are better served. The right person will care about telling stories well, tracking what works, and strengthening the partnerships that keep the music community thriving.
