Social Media Coordination Intern
Clarity AI is looking for a Social Media Coordination Intern to help grow both the company's public presence and the professional brand of a co-founder.
This is not a traditional social media internship where you'll simply schedule posts or create memes. Instead, you'll work directly with the founder of an AI software company to help build long-term thought leadership through research, writing, strategic engagement and AI-assisted content creation.
You'll help manage two related, but distinct, brands:
- Corporate: Clarity AI (https://gainclarity.ai); focused on practical, secure and responsible AI adoption for organizations.
- Personal: Co-Founder; focused on entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, leadership, technology, business transformation, responsible AI, education and the future of work.
Our goal isn't to chase followers or viral moments. We're building trusted authority and a solid foundation through thoughtful content, meaningful conversations and practical insights.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching ideas, writing, learning about technology and helping professionals communicate effectively online. If you're curious, organized and excited about the intersection of AI, business and communication, we'd love to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Publishing
- Assist in managing the social media presence for both Clarity AI and its founder.
- Draft, edit, schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, X and Instagram.
- Maintain separate content calendars for company and personal brand content.
- Adapt content appropriately for each platform rather than simply cross-posting.
- Work with AI-generated drafts and existing content workflows while preserving an authentic voice.
Research & Thought Leadership
- Research topics related to artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, leadership, business transformation, security, education and responsible AI.
- Monitor relevant conversations and industry developments.
- Maintain an organized backlog of content ideas and future topics.
- Research executives, entrepreneurs, educators, policymakers, journalists and organizations worth following and engaging with.
- Identify opportunities for Clarity AI and co-founder to contribute meaningful perspectives to ongoing conversations.
Community Engagement
- Recommend conversations worth participating in.
- Draft replies, comments and engagement opportunities for review.
- Help build authentic relationships within the AI, technology, startup and Idaho business communities.
- Monitor social engagement and identify meaningful opportunities for follow-up.
Speaking & Media Research
- Research conferences, podcasts, university events, business organizations and speaking opportunities.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential events and outreach opportunities.
- Assist with speaker biographies, presentation ideas and supporting materials when appropriate.
Content Operations
- Organize research, content calendars and publishing schedules.
- Assist with basic graphics, image selection, short-form video clips and presentation materials when needed.
- Track content performance and identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Help maintain a consistent publishing rhythm across multiple platforms.
Optional Opportunity: Help Build the Future of AI-Assisted Marketing
Clarity AI is actively developing software that helps organizations and individuals manage AI-assisted content creation, thought leadership and social media operations.
Depending on your interests and abilities, you may have the opportunity to:
- Evaluate AI-assisted content workflows.
- Test new software features and prototypes.
- Recommend improvements based on real-world experience.
- Help identify repetitive marketing workflows that can be automated.
- Provide feedback that influences products designed for agencies, consultants, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
This is an opportunity to help shape software that you may someday use with your own clients or future business.
Requirements
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Public Relations, Political Science, Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong research and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram and X.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, technology, entrepreneurship or business.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
