Supervisory Health Scientist

As a Supervisory Health Scientist, you will:
- Provide leadership and oversight on all activities designed to create a drug-free workplace, including activities related to the efficacy of drug testing.
- Oversee and manage the Federal Government's development and management of drug testing guidelines.
- Serve as a recognized authority on scientific and technical guidelines for employee drug testing, laboratory certification, and employee assistance programs.
- Utilize program findings to direct development of new methods and approaches related to workplace substance use prevention.
- Develop position statements, testimony, analytical papers, and other materials related to drug testing, laboratory certification, workplace prevention, and safety issues.
- Direct professional staff and support personnel and perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
- Determine staffing and resource requirements, justify short- and long-range budget needs, and oversee periodic reviews of Division activities.
