STEM Education Fieldwork Intern
Are you studying Elementary Education, Science Education, STEM Education, or a related education field and looking for meaningful classroom experience?
Young STEAMers, a Bay Area nonprofit dedicated to inspiring the next generation of scientists through hands-on STEAM education, is seeking passionate education students to join our new Science & Literacy Academy (Sci Lit Academy).
This innovative after-school program serves 5th-grade students at a Title I elementary school through engaging, inquiry-based science lessons that integrate hands-on investigations, reading, writing, discussion, and scientific reasoning. While students prepare for the California Science Test (CAST), our broader mission is to help them develop the critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills that will support their success throughout their education.

- Student engagement and differentiated learning
Throughout the program, you will be supported by experienced educators, including our Chief Programs Officer who will provide coaching and professional guidance.
