Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade within a supportive school district setting. This full-time opportunity is available immediately and runs through September 2, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success and independence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and special education teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state requirements.
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional academic skills.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state Occupational Therapy license or ability to obtain licensure before start.
- School-based experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
