DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work closely with software developers and cloud engineers to support application deployments, automate infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and security of our platform.

You'll gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation while contributing to the development of a modern AI-driven SaaS product.

What You'll Do

  • Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based applications
  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
  • Monitor system performance, application health, and cloud infrastructure
  • Help troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident resolution
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Assist in managing Docker containers and Kubernetes environments
  • Support infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment processes
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks
  • Follow security, reliability, and DevOps best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 0–1 year of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or related technical roles (internships and academic projects are welcome)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Understanding of Git, version control, and software development workflows
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Basic understanding of networking, cloud infrastructure, and system monitoring
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and willingness to learn new technologies

Nice to Have

  • Academic or internship experience with Kubernetes
  • Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are a plus
