Pro Shop Associate

Cool Springs has been a staple in the South Hills for over 40 years now and has been continuously growing. On our campus, we have the Allegheny Health Network Sports Complex, the Clubhouse, a two-story driving range, an 18-hole miniature golf course and much more!

The primary role of the Pro Shop Associate is to assist in the day-to-day operations of, driving range, mini golf, Toptracer Bays, and indoor golf simulators at Cool Springs.

Essential Job Duties:                              

• Serve the public in a courteous manner in person and on the telephone
• Answer and manage phone calls for pro shop / driving range / Mini Golf / Simulators
• Serve beer and wine to eligible patrons
• Operate computer POS with facility operations software and a cash drawer
• Assist with golf shop inventory controls: stocking product, displaying product, selling product, etc.
• Keep all facility areas neat and clean, run vacuum, take out garbage, Windex windows, etc.
• Enforce and monitor CS facilities operational rules
• Understand and manage all golf related technologies
• Assist in running golf and or party events in on site
• Complete the daily duties assigned to each facility and any other duties assigned to you by your supervisor

• Willingness to assist when needed to give the customer outstanding service
• Teamwork approach to the position is essential
• Dress appropriately for golf related services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Required Education and Experience:

• Be RAMP certified, or become RAMP certified within 6 months of hire

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School or equivalent
• Golf Experience

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
