Break Free Candy - Candy Bar Mini Package Design with AI

Break Free Candy is a vegan candy company dedicated to creating ethical, allergen-friendly treats while building real opportunities for marginalized communities. We craft handmade candy bars that are dairy-free, egg-free, plant-based, and created with love. Our mission goes beyond sweets — we are committed to saving animals and creating as many jobs as possible for formerly incarcerated individuals, queer folks, and others who are often overlooked in traditional hiring spaces.

Project Description
Students on this project will utilize Adobe Illustrator and AI to review existing product packaging and will create 7 mini wrapper packaging designs, (Break Free Candy currently offers 10 vegan candy bars, but only 3 have mini wrappers currently, this project will produce the other 7). Although the full-size designs already exist, each mini wrapper will need to be individually adapted so the product name, artwork, colors, ingredients, and other required information fit correctly and remain easy to read.

This project will involve the following tasks, involving AI as much as possible to assist the effort in speed and quality:

Reviewing existing Adobe Illustrator packaging files.
Making needed updates and small design corrections.
Using the 3 existing mini wrappers as a guide.
Create 7 different mini candy bar wrappers.
Making sure all 10 mini wrappers look like one matching collection.
Creating coordinating bag design(s) for the mini candy bars.
Applying the final designs to the correct packaging dyelines.
Preparing editable Adobe Illustrator files and print-ready PDFs.
