COMPENSATION: $30/hour

Time Commitment: 15-20 hours per week

Position Summary:

 

DCMA is seeking a highly motivated student to work directly with the Business Process Improvement (BPI) team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on BPI’s AI Acceleration efforts across the firm and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting executive-level work with a focus on applying artificial intelligence tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and communication.

 

In this role, you will partner closely with the BPI team on day-to-day priorities—assisting with AI prompt development, preparing presentations and reports, and identifying ways to more effectively leverage Microsoft Copilot in a fast-paced financial services environment. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic initiatives.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner directly with the BPI team to support daily workflow and strategic projects.
  • Develop and refine AI prompts to improve efficiency and output quality using Microsoft Copilot.
  • Assist in the creation of executive-level presentations, reports, and communications.
  • Research and recommend practical applications of AI to enhance business processes and decision-making.
  • Identify use cases and suggest new workflow optimization techniques using AI tools.
  • Help streamline and organize information for leadership consumption.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

 

Qualifications:

Some of the key qualifications of a successful candidate include the following:

 

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (junior or senior preferred) or Masters program, with a concentration in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence and its practical applications in a business environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Cowork, Github CLI, or similar AI tools required.
  • Experience building AI agents preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready materials.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize in a fast‑paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic setting.

 

Additional Internship Details

 

  • Candidates are expected to work on a part-time basis around 20 hours per week.
  • This role will be required to work in person in our NYC office.
