Campus Ambassador
Overview
Together Wealth is an SEC-registered investment adviser and guided investing platform launching this September. We are engaging Campus Ambassadors to lead member acquisition, brand awareness, and educational outreach on college campuses nationwide.
This is a compensated, performance-based independent contractor engagement. Ambassadors earn a monthly retainer for completing defined promotional deliverables, uncapped referral compensation for each person who becomes a member through their referral link, and bonuses tied to cumulative growth milestones. Each ambassador's own membership fee is waived for the duration of the engagement.
You control your own schedule, your own methods, and the number of hours you invest. Together Wealth defines the deliverables and the compliance standards that apply to them. How you meet those deliverables on your campus is yours to determine.
About Together Wealth
Together Wealth helps first-time and emerging investors build long-term wealth through guided investing, professional portfolio management, and community-powered pricing. We built the financial service industry's first Communal Wealth Engine, a pricing structure in which member costs can decrease as the community grows. Together Wealth was created for people who have historically been excluded from the financial system. Full-service advisers may have priced them out. Robo platforms may have left them wanting more.
Deliverables
Each month, ambassadors are responsible for:
- Peer to peer outreach across your campus and personal networks
- Publishing approved promotional content on your social channels on a weekly cadence
- Executing at least one campus outreach activity, such as tabling, a chapter presentation, a sponsored event, or a campaign
- Distributing approved educational and marketing materials
- Participating in a weekly working session with the Together Wealth team to review results, request materials, and coordinate upcoming activity
- Submitting records of your promotional activity to Together Wealth on the schedule set out in your promoter agreement
The weekly working session is a deliverable of the engagement and a requirement of the compliance framework we operate under. It is not a supervisory check-in and does not carry a set time commitment beyond the session itself. Together Wealth does not set your hours or direct your day to day methods.
Recordkeeping runs to the firm rather than staying with you because Together Wealth is required to retain copies of all advertisements disseminated on its behalf.
What Together Wealth Provides
Materials and budget. During your first week you will identify the materials best suited to your campus, and we will produce and ship them. The initial catalog includes posters, window clings, postcards, and print and digital assets. In month two the catalog expands to include table cloths, stand up banners, branded merchandise, and additional event materials. Ambassadors are allocated a materials and event budget. Expenses against that budget are approved in advance.
Weekly working sessions. Regular sessions with the Together Wealth team to review performance, resolve obstacles, and plan the month ahead.
Professional training. Ambassadors are trained on marketing and communications standards for a registered investment adviser, including disclosure and advertising requirements that most finance professionals do not encounter until well into their careers.
Advancement. The program is scaling through the fall and into 2027. We intend to engage from within the cohort for lead and regional manager positions, and ambassadors who perform will be prioritized for term renewals and for future openings at the firm.
Compensation
Compensation consists of four components:
- Monthly promotional retainer: $250 per month. Earned by completing the defined promotional deliverables listed above. Tied to completion of those deliverables, not to hours worked and not to results.
- Referral compensation: $12 per Qualified Member. Uncapped. A Qualified Member is a person who registers through your referral link, completes the membership purchase process, and submits payment for the initial membership fee following the 7 day free trial. Referral compensation is earned only on verification of that first completed payment. If a referred prospect does not continue past the free trial, no referral payment is earned.
- Milestone bonuses tied to cumulative referred membership, detailed in your promoter agreement.
- A waived Together Wealth membership fee for the duration of the engagement.
Compensation is calculated and paid monthly and reported on Form 1099. The waived membership fee is non-cash compensation and is included in that reporting. There is no hourly compensation, no minimum hour requirement, and no employee benefits. Compensation is based on individual results. No specific level of earnings is guaranteed.
Term
Engagements run month to month (for a total of 4 months) and renew at Together Wealth's discretion based on performance against the criteria in your promoter agreement. Either party may end the engagement with 14 days written notice. Referral compensation earned before the end date is paid in the ordinary monthly cycle.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student, 18 or older
- Demonstrated initiative and a track record of executing independently
- Comfortable representing the firm publicly under your own name, including in video content
- Organized and consistent, with the discipline to maintain a weekly cadence and accurate records
- Established campus network
- Interest in financial services, fintech, marketing, or entrepreneurship
Ambassadors may not simultaneously promote a competing investment platform, brokerage, or financial services firm during the engagement.
Regulatory Environment
Together Wealth is an SEC-registered investment adviser, and all firm marketing is governed by securities regulations. Campus Ambassadors work within that framework.
All promotional content is reviewed and approved by Together Wealth prior to publication. This approval requirement comes from securities regulation and applies to every party who promotes the firm.
Because your membership fee is waived, you are a client of Together Wealth. Securities regulations require that your posts and videos disclose both that you are compensated and that you are a client. Approved disclosure language is provided in training and is required in every post, video, and message.
Ambassadors use only firm-approved materials and messaging, and do not provide investment advice or discuss investment performance, returns, or specific holdings. Your referral link routes through a Together Wealth disclosure page before signup, which carries the full compensation and client relationship disclosure. Full training is provided before any promotional activity begins.
Campus Ambassadors are independent contractors. They are not employees, and they are not investment adviser representatives of Together Wealth. Prior to the start of each engagement, every ambassador completes an eligibility review, executes a promoter agreement, and completes required training. The role is available in eligible states only, which Together Wealth confirms before each cohort begins.
Application Process
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and interviews are scheduled as applications are received. The process consists of two rounds:
Round 1. A conversation covering your background, your campus, and your approach to building awareness and membership from the ground up.
Round 2. A working session in which you present a specific outreach plan for your campus to the Together Wealth team.
