Luxury Retail Operations Admin Manager
Charles Mayer is a luxury retail store, originally founded in 1840 in Indianapolis, carrying fine tableware, home decor, jewelry, and fine gifts.
We’re hiring a Retail Operations Admin Manager! We're primarily looking for a positive attitude, organizational competence, and a dedicated work ethic. We are happy to train you on all of the following, even if you lack direct experience.
- Count inventory annually
- Manage receiving new merchandise as it arrives, checking it in, barcoding it and adding photos and descriptions
- Place special orders via email with vendors as needed
- Ship online orders or prepare them for in-store pickup
- Pay invoices as needed (after confirming receipt of inventory)
- Customer service via email and phone (minimal)
- Assist sales floor team as needed with POS system, occasional errands, etc.
- Manage email inbox and stay organized on outstanding tasks
