Special Education Teacher

Part-time Teacher position in a special education classroom of up to 12 students with social/emotional, learning, and behavioral issues, with paraprofessional assistance. 2-3 Courses per day, including history and science.

Mardan School is a non-profit, non-public special day school for bright children with social, emotional, and/or learning difficulties located in Irvine, CA. The maximum class size is 12, with a full-time assistant teacher.

Candidates must possess a California Education Specialist (Mild/Mod) credential with Autism Authorization. Strong experience and/or knowledge in behavior management and positive behavior support techniques is REQUIRED.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
