Lead Teacher – Small Group (Avg. 6 Students) Learning Program

Learning Cove Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Lead Teacher to join our growing team. We are a small educational program that combines strong academics with hands-on, real-world learning in a close-knit, family-like environment.

Our small-group model allows teachers to truly know their students, provide individualized support, and bring creativity into their teaching. In addition to academics, students participate in gardening, agriculture, chicken care, cooking, entrepreneurship, life skills, outdoor learning, and field trips.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small group of students
Plan and deliver engaging academic instruction
Adapt lessons for different learning levels
Incorporate hands-on projects and real-world applications
Participate in gardening, agriculture, chicken care, and outdoor learning activities
Help students develop responsibility, independence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Maintain a positive and organized learning environment
Collaborate closely with teachers, assistants, and administration
Communicate professionally with families

Qualifications
- Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting
- CDA, Associate's degree in Education, Bachelor's degree in Education, or related education background preferred
- Teaching certification is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills
- Creative, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children
- Comfortable participating in both indoor and outdoor learning activities
