Boosted Diplomas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering foster and at-risk youth through free tutoring, mentorship, and educational advocacy. Our mission is to provide the resources and guidance students need to thrive academically and prepare for a bright future.

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and compassionate tutors to join our team. As a Boosted Diplomas tutor, you will work one-on-one with middle and high school students, helping them understand course material, complete assignments, and develop study skills. You’ll also play an important role in building students’ confidence and encouraging their academic growth.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized tutoring in a variety of subjects, focusing on core academic areas (Math, English, Science, Social Studies)

Adapt teaching strategies to meet each student’s needs and learning style

Support students with homework, projects, and test preparation

Maintain session notes and communicate student progress with our team

Serve as a positive role model, encouraging students to reach their full potential

Qualifications

Current college student or graduate with strong academic skills

Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently

Reliable, professional, and committed to helping youth succeed

Experience working with teens (preferred but not required)

Background check required
