About Us

Strong Tower Christian Media is a Southwest Ohio nonprofit sharing the love of Jesus through Biblical teaching and hope-full music. We operate four radio brands — Hope Radio, 93.7 The Light, 98.3 The Rock, and Iron FM — serving communities from Dayton to Cincinnati, Columbus, Portsmouth, and beyond. 

The Role

We’re looking for a college student or recent grad who loves Jesus, loves media, and wants real hands on experience shaping how our stations reach our audiences. As the Digital Media Intern, you’ll work directly with our Digital Director across all of our brands, learning the craft of Christian media from the inside. You’ll create content, facilitate distribution, and meaningfully affect people for Christ. This is a working internship. You’ll have your hands on important projects from week one.

What You’ll Do

This internship is custom tailored for you. Depending on your strengths and interests, your work may include:

• Assisting with podcast production, editing, and publishing

• Working with our creatives to produce social media content

• Producing short-form and long-form video

• Writing website content, blog posts, and show pages

• Designing graphics for social posts, digital ads, and station promotions

• Capturing photos at station events, concerts, and remote broadcasts

• Building email campaigns and newsletters

• Pulling and reporting on analytics across platforms

• Researching and strategizing new and better ways to engage with our listeners 

You’ll gain exposure to how a multi-brand Christian media organization actually runs, across programming, development, digital, and daily operations.

Who You Are

• A committed follower of Jesus with an active, growing faith

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student or recently graduated

• Skilled in one or more digital media areas: social, video, design, writing, podcasting, or photography

• Comfortable with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, or similar

• A self-starter who can take direction and follow through on a project

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn

• Aligned with our Statement of Faith and comfortable working in a ministry environment

Bonus if you have:

• A portfolio of previous work: school, church, or personal projects all count

• Familiarity with Christian music, radio, or podcast culture

• Experience with WordPress, Meta Business Suite, or Google Analytics

The Details

• Hours: 10 to 15 per week, flexible around your class schedule

• Location: Hybrid, with a mix of time at our studios in Xenia and remote work

• Compensation: Determined on a candidate-by-candidate basis; school credit is also an option

• Duration: Ongoing with a rolling start date
