Social Media Intern — Bummed

Bummed is on a mission to make anorectal health as normal to talk about as it actually is. We're building the #1 digital health platform for all your number two problems — breaking stigma, expanding access, and making care feel a little less awkward and a lot more human. 

The Role 

We're looking for a Social Media Intern to help run our Instagram and TikTok — someone who lives and breathes social, isn't afraid of a taboo topic, and wants real ownership over how Bummed shows up online.

What You'll Do

• Create content for Instagram and TikTok — from concept to camera to caption
• Write captions that are bold, funny, and on-brand (we love a good pun)
• Manage and maintain our social media content calendar
• Upload, post, and actively engage with our community
• Support influencer and creator partnerships

Who You Are

• Genuinely passionate about social media and pop culture/trends 
• Comfortable (excited, even) talking about stigmatized areas of health and care
• A strong, funny writer with a good eye for what makes content stop the scroll
• Organized and self-directed — you don't need everything spelled out
