Job Title: YouTube Growth & Content Intern, AI Startup Podcast (Paid)

Description: The AI Ventures Podcast is an in-person interview show featuring Venture Capital backed AI startup founders in the Bay Area, covering what they're building, industry predictions, and where the space is heading.
We're looking for a student intern to specifically grow and manage our YouTube channel. This is a hands-on opportunity to own a channel's growth strategy from an early stage, with direct exposure to founders building at the frontier of AI.
Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form podcast episodes into YouTube Shorts and short-form clips
- Manage upload schedule, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails
- Identify clip-worthy moments from episode transcripts and footage
- Track YouTube performance metrics (views, subscriber growth, 48-hour view velocity) and adjust strategy based on results
- Test and iterate on creative growth strategies specific to YouTube
- Stay current on YouTube trends, formats, and algorithm changes relevant to interview/podcast content
Ideal Candidate:
- Interested in video editing, YouTube strategy, content creation, or the tech/startup space
- Comfortable with editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Self-directed, able to work with minimal oversight once ramped up
- Genuine interest in AI/startups a plus. This isn't just an editing job, it's building a channel in one of the most active corners of tech right now
Compensation: Paid per episode, based on deliverables and growth outcomes (not hourly)
Time Commitment: Flexible, outcome-based rather than fixed hours
