Reading Therapist
Make a lasting difference in the lives of K-12 students and gain valuable, hands-on experience providing one-on-one instruction for struggling learners utilizing a research-based, multi-sensory curriculum. Seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- 3.5 cumulative GPA
- One year commitment
- Reliable transportation
- Standard English speaking
- Available part-time in the afternoons during the school year, full-time during summer
- Proficient in basic technology (Excel, Word, Google Drive, Zoom)
- Prior experience working with children (preferred, but not required)
- Strong attention to detail
- Takes initiative
Expected job responsibilities:
- Provides one-on-one instruction utilizing pre-written instructional plan
- Manages student behavior effectively during lessons
- Provides feedback to parents post-lesson
- Assists with basic office tasks such as answering phone, filing, printing, organizing, etc.
