Physical Therapist

Full-Time | Part-Time | Competitive Pay | Flexible Scheduling

Jaynes PT, a patient-centered physical therapy provider serving the Greater New Orleans area, is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and self-driven Licensed Physical Therapist to join our growing team. We specialize in orthopedic care, sports injuries, chronic pain management, pediatric therapy, and post-surgical rehabilitation, delivering high-quality treatment in a supportive and personalized environment.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist at Jaynes PT, you will provide individualized evaluations, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver hands-on care that empowers patients to move, heal, and live better. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, strong communication, and building trusted relationships with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and post-surgical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional movement, mobility, strength, and pain reduction
  • Provide manual therapy, gait and balance training, therapeutic exercise, and other specialty interventions
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with clinic standards and Louisiana PT regulations
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, referring physicians, caregivers, and support staff
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term health strategies
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach that promotes trust, motivation, and continuity of care
  • Uphold professional, ethical, and quality standards that reflect Jaynes PT’s values

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active Louisiana Physical Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
  • Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, or sports rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and patient-relationship skills
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • New graduates encouraged to apply; mentoring available

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with manual therapy techniques
  • Pediatric therapy experience
  • Knowledge of functional movement systems
  • Interest in home-based or community-based care models
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication abilities
