Account Executive
Steel City Media has full-time opportunities available for highly ambitious, energetic, and self-motivated individuals to join our sales team in Pittsburgh, PA.
We are seeking both new college graduates as well as individuals with a proven sales track record.
Training provided.
Job Type: Full-Time; On-site
Pay: Base Salary plus Commission/Negotiable
+ Car Allowance
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop client relationships, contact key accounts, develop new business and manage accounts at various stages in the sales cycle.
- Account Executives provide weekly sales projections, account updates, collections and forecasting of future advertising.
- Expand local sales in the Pittsburgh market by presenting advertisers with ideas utilizing our 2 radio properties, digital advertising and events tied to our brands.
- Generate sales packages, negotiate advertising rates, direct creative campaigns, create and deliver oral and written presentations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with direct advertisers, media buyers and advertising agencies.
- Develop short and long range plans for revenue growth.
- Research, analyze and monitor competitive media for new leads.
Position preferences:
- Minimum of two years of outside sales experience preferred, but not required
- Bachelor degree preferred with an emphasis in Business, Marketing or Communications.
- Excellent public relations skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Detailed oriented, analytical and creative minded individuals.
- Digital Sales experience, or some knowledge of digital marketing Valid driver’s license and state mandated automobile insurance including an acceptable driving record are required.
