The Department of Research, Counseling and Curriculum offers graduate level programs in the areas of research and counselor education. Our faculty and staff are committed to high impact practice within the context of a caring community and produce innovative research that seeks to address matters related to mental health, intellectual growth and moral development. Research Duties Include:
Critical parts of this position are integrity and confidentiality. At times, you may interact with confidential information that may include teacher or student records/files. It is imperative that you always maintain the utmost professionalism and discretion. In addition, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are key qualities to be successful in this role. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Collect and review literature.

• Write annotated bibliographies

• Ability to search and disseminate grant information

• Help organize and work with data and/or databases

• Analyze or code data

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (i.e., excel and word), SPSS and/or NVivo

• Assist with presentation(s) to department, school, or community stakeholders

• Availability for co-authoring with faculty

• Other Research-Related Tasks as assigned by the Department Chair

• Work Hours: 20 hours weekly

• Full-time enrollment required: 9 hours minimum Fall and Spring; and 6 hours during the Summer

• Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher

• Tuition waived (except for $25); the additional mandatory fees per semester still apply
