Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Client Insight: Learn client business needs, control systems, and industry-specific GAAP/GAAS issues.
  • Assurance Services: Assist with financial statement audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
  • Audit Support: Perform substantive testing, examine financial statements, and review internal control procedures.
  • Financial Analysis: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
  • Documentation: Create organized, accurate, and clear workpapers to support engagement findings.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns or information filings for various clients.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients and the LLG team to gather necessary financial documents and information.

 

Qualifications:


We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic professional with an upbeat outlook to join our team and actively respond to the needs of our growing client base. Strong candidates for this position should be motivated, reliable, and possess:

  • Experience: Minimum of one year of prior accounting experience; CPA license or CPA candidacy is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial field.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate complex data.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop/Online), MS Office (Excel/Word); Experience with CaseWare and DataSnipper is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, team collaboration skills, and discreet handling of confidential data.
