Paraplanner

ArcBridge Financial Group, an Ameriprise Financial franchise, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paraplanner to support our growing wealth management practice.

This role is responsible for executing financial planning strategies, managing investment operations, and supporting advisor-led client relationships to help deliver strong client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Advisory Support

  • Prepare materials and recommendations for client meetings
  • Assist with client onboarding and ongoing service needs
  • Support advisors in delivering a consistent client experience

Trading & Transactions

  • Execute trades in accordance with firm policies and client objectives
  • Process contributions, distributions, transfers, and rollovers
  • Monitor transactions and resolve discrepancies

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial plans
  • Prepare planning analyses, including retirement, tax, and investment strategies
  • Support tracking of required distributions and key planning deadlines

Investment Research & Portfolio Support

  • Conduct research to support portfolio strategies and model updates
  • Analyze performance, risk, and allocation changes
  • Assist in evaluating investment solutions

Operations & Compliance

  • Prepare and process client paperwork
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records
  • Ensure adherence to Ameriprise policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business, or related preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial services or wealth management
  • Experience with trading, transactions, and account documentation
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Series 7 and 63/66 licenses (or ability to obtain)
  • California Insurance License (or ability to obtain)

Preferred:

  • Experience as a Paraplanner or Planning Associate
  • Familiarity with financial planning software and CRM systems
  • CFP® coursework or progress toward designation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
