We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Counselor – Limited Permit (MHC-LP) to join our expanding clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career clinician looking to receive high-quality supervision while developing confidence in outpatient psychotherapy within a supportive practice environment.

Position Summary

The MHC-LP will provide outpatient psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families through a secure HIPAA compliant telehealth platform while working under the clinical supervision of a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, maintaining timely and accurate documentation, and delivering culturally responsive, client-centered care that supports each client’s emotional wellness and personal growth. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, motivated, and collaborative clinician who is committed to ethical practice, continued professional development, and building meaningful therapeutic relationships. Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or closely related counseling program
• Active New York Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit (MHC-LP) or in process of obtaining MHC-LP 
• Eligible to practice psychotherapy under approved supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
• Excellent documentation skills
• Reliable internet connection and private workspace suitable for telehealth
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional development

Compensation

• Starting: $45 per completed session
• After 6 months or a consistent caseload (e.g., 15–20+ sessions/week): $50 per completed session
• After one year $55 per completed session
