Essential Pharmaceutical is a dietary supplement manufacturer committed to producing safe, high-quality products in compliance with FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented QC/QA Technician to support our manufacturing and quality operations. Both part-time and full-time candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections throughout receiving, manufacturing, packaging, and finished-product operations.
- Review batch production records, packaging records, labels, specifications, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct line clearance and verify that the correct ingredients, packaging materials, labels, and lot numbers are being used.
- Collect and document samples of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Monitor manufacturing practices to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, company SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging components.
- Verify equipment cleaning, sanitation, calibration, and production-area conditions.
- Identify, document, and report deviations, nonconformances, and quality concerns.
- Assist with investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), product holds, and material disposition.
- Maintain organized QC/QA records, retain samples, logs, and other quality documents.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Work closely with production, warehouse, purchasing, and management teams to resolve quality issues.
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous QC, QA, laboratory, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience in dietary supplements, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or another FDA-regulated industry is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA dietary supplement cGMP requirements under 21 CFR Part 111 is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow written SOPs and complete records accurately.
- Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English proficiency is required; bilingual English and Chinese is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in science, food science, chemistry, biology, or a related field is preferred.

- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds when necessary.
- Must be dependable and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule
- Part-time or full-time positions available.
- Typical schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am to 3:30pm
- Some schedule flexibility may be available.
