Curriculum Development Intern -- Music and World Cultures Program for Kids

All Around This World -- http://www.ExploreEverywhere.com -- a global music and world cultures educational program for young children (infants to 9 year-olds) and their families -- is seeking students to work with us on developing engaging, interactive lessons that will inspire elementary school kids to explore the world through singing, dancing and FUN.

Students will work with AATW's founder and lead teacher Jay Sand to create participatory lessons that will become part of our curriculum, one that already includes 300 multilingual songs and cultural experiences that originate from over 100 counties. Depending on the intern's interests, students may work on lessons that focus on cultural engagement, stringed instruments, percussion instruments or languages.

AATW is a small organization based in Philadelphia, but this internship is remote. Interns will work Jay online, communicating via e-mail and Zoom.

Interns can commit any amount of time weekly to the project and work hours will be flexible; we will work together to develop a schedule that works for us both. We welcome interns who will be able to work with us all year, but we'll also be grateful to partner with you for one semester.

This internship is unpaid, but we will enthusiastically support you in using this work for an internship credit or an independent study project. We also actively support successful interns with recommendations and in developing items for your portfolio. Interns will receive public credit as co-developers of the curriculum.

Please direct inquiries to Jay Sand at jay@allaroundthisworld.com, 215-913-2679.
