Content Marketing Intern (Hybrid)

Location: San Antonio, TX (In-Person/Hybrid)

Schedule: Part-Time Internship (Up to 19 hours/week during Fall & Spring; up to 40 hours/week in Summer)

About Debt Redemption

Debt Redemption is a San Antonio-based debt relief company helping Texans resolve high-interest debt through customized debt settlement plans. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions—we build a strategy around each client's unique financial situation. We partner with our clients; we don't process them.

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a creative, motivated Content Marketing Intern who wants real-world experience in content creation, digital marketing, public relations, and brand storytelling. This is a hands-on internship where you'll contribute to live marketing campaigns, assist with production, and help build a recognizable Texas brand.

What You'll Do

  • Create engaging, on-brand content for social media and digital platforms
  • Edit and repurpose long-form video into short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Assist with content capture during company events, interviews, and community outreach
  • Support podcast and video production before, during, and after filming
  • Research trends, competitors, and content opportunities
  • Write educational, SEO-friendly content that provides value to consumers
  • Assist with ambassador, community, and PR initiatives
  • Help maintain the content calendar using AI tools and project management software
  • Pitch creative campaign and content ideas
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on special projects and brand initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Current UTSA student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Digital Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • A portfolio or examples of social media work (school projects, freelance work, internships, personal brand, or campus organizations are all acceptable)
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current content trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and taking initiative
  • Interest in AI tools and modern marketing workflows is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing software
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com is a plus
  • Photography or videography experience is a bonus
