Position Summary / Job Description:

The Marketing Intern will support ASI's marketing and communications initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in corporate marketing, branding, event planning, and digital communications. This position assists with creating content, maintaining marketing materials, coordinating company events, and supporting recruiting and employer branding efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a professional aerospace environment.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with creating marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, presentations, and promotional items.
  • Support the development of social media content and maintain the company’s online presence.
  • Help create and update website content, ensuring information remains current and accurate.
  • Assist with internal communications, employee announcements, newsletters, and company-wide emails.
  • Coordinate logistics and promotional materials for company events, employee engagement activities, and community outreach.
  • Assist with photography, video content, and graphic design projects as needed.
  • Help maintain company branding standards across all marketing opportunities.
  • Assist with organizing digital marketing files, photos, logos, and other company assets.
  • Track marketing project progress and provide administrative support to the marketing function.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Professional attitude with a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design software.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of website management (WordPress or similar platforms).
  • Photography, videography, or video editing experience.
  • Interest in aerospace, engineering, or technology industries.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to attend company events and career fairs as needed.

Work Environment

This position primarily works in a professional office environment with occasional travel to company events, recruiting activities, and community outreach functions.
