Are you looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity where you can make a difference while gaining valuable hands-on clinical experience? Bright Path ABA is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dependable Behavioral Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Education, Social Work, Nursing, Pre-Physician Assistant (Pre-PA), Pre-Occupational Therapy (Pre-OT), Speech-Language Pathology, Pre-Med, or other related fields who are interested in working with children and building a strong foundation in behavioral healthcare.

No ABA experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training for all new team members. Training is mandatory for new hires who do not have prior ABA experience.

As a Behavioral Technician, you will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play an essential role in helping clients develop communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and daily living skills while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.

 

This is a part-time Independent Contractor (1099) position. Independent Contractors are compensated for authorized services provided and are responsible for their own federal, state, and local taxes, insurance, and other obligations associated with independent contractor status.

 

Compensation:

  • Behavioral Technician (BT): Starting at $22.00 per hour
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Starting at $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs developed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clinic, home, school, and community settings.
  • Teach communication, social, adaptive, play, and daily living skills.
  • Collect accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data during each therapy session.
  • Implement evidence-based ABA teaching strategies, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and other interventions as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Implement behavior reduction strategies while maintaining a safe, supportive, and positive therapeutic environment.
  • Complete session notes and required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional communication with supervisors, caregivers, and members of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in education, childcare, healthcare, counseling, behavioral therapy, or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Patience, empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a clinical team.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as assigned.
  • Ability to pass all required background screenings.
  • Ability to complete all required onboarding and training requirements.

 

Schedule:

  • Part-time (10–20 hours per week)
  • Monday through Friday
  • Flexible scheduling based on client availability
  • Typical sessions range from 2 to 5 hours

 

Work Location:

Services are provided in person in our clinic or clients' homes, schools, and community settings.
