Position Overview

Seminole Integrative Medicine is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Part-Time Licensed Massage Therapist to join our integrative healthcare team.

This position is ideal for a massage therapy student nearing graduation or a recent graduate who is interested in gaining experience in a professional healthcare setting. The massage therapist will work alongside our chiropractic and integrative medicine team to help patients improve mobility, reduce muscular tension, manage discomfort, and support their overall wellness.

Schedule:

  • Mondays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional therapeutic massage services based on each patient’s needs
  • Communicate with patients about comfort, pressure preferences, and treatment goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Prepare and reset the massage room between appointments
  • Follow proper sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures
  • Maintain patient privacy and professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with the chiropractor and other members of the healthcare team
  • Educate patients on general self-care and wellness practices within the massage therapist’s scope of practice
  • Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience

Qualifications:

  • Current massage therapy student nearing program completion or recent graduate
  • Must obtain a valid Florida massage therapy license before independently treating patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Comfortable working with patients of different ages and physical abilities
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate in an integrative healthcare environment
  • Previous professional experience is not required
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in therapeutic, medical, sports, or rehabilitative massage
  • Familiarity with anatomy, muscular conditions, and injury recovery
  • CPR certification
  • Interest in developing long-term relationships with patients
