Tool & Die Maker

Location: Somerset, PA
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour+ (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM, or 5:30 PM
Overtime Available & Encouraged

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join our team in Somerset, PA. This position is ideal for someone with experience building molds, tooling, and precision components used in manufacturing operations.

If you have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and enjoy hands-on work creating and repairing tooling, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

  • Build, assemble, and maintain molds, dies, fixtures, and tooling
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Repair and modify existing molds and tooling as needed
  • Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Troubleshoot tooling and production issues
  • Work closely with production personnel to improve manufacturing processes
  • Operate machining equipment and hand tools as needed
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Experience building molds and tooling
  • Knowledge of tool and die manufacturing processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with precision measuring instruments
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manufacturing, machining, or tool and die experience preferred

Schedule & Overtime

  • Monday-Friday
  • Start time: 7:00 AM
  • End time varies between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM based on production needs
  • Saturday overtime available (typically 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM)
  • Overtime is available and encouraged
