CNC Programmer

Location: Somerset, PA
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour+ (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM, or 5:30 PM

We are seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team in Somerset, PA. This position is ideal for someone with GibbsCAM programming experience who enjoys creating efficient machining programs, solving manufacturing challenges, and working in a precision-driven environment.

What You'll Do

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using GibbsCAM
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Develop machining processes to maximize efficiency and quality
Support CNC machine setup and production operations
Troubleshoot programming and machining issues
Verify part dimensions and quality requirements
Collaborate with production and machining teams to improve workflows
Maintain accurate documentation and programming records

Qualifications

Experience with GibbsCAM programming
Understanding of CNC machining processes and operations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and materials
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred

Schedule & Overtime

Monday-Friday
Start time: 7:00 AM
End time varies between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM based on production demands
Saturday overtime available (typically 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM)
Overtime is available and encouraged
