Whether you're a recent graduate with an engineering degree or have a few years of experience, this is an opportunity to build your career while helping agricultural producers navigate engineering, environmental, and regulatory challenges. Our team works on livestock facility design, environmental permitting, site development, drainage and water management, manure management systems, and regulatory compliance projects throughout the Midwest.

If you're naturally curious, enjoy solving complex problems, and have a passion for agriculture, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with engineering design of livestock facilities and agricultural infrastructure.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, technical reports, and permit applications.
  • Conduct field visits, site evaluations, and construction technical services and observations.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and fellow consultants.
  • Support environmental permitting and compliance projects.
  • Learn directly from experienced engineers and consultants while expanding your technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Recent graduate or up to five years of engineering experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to project sites throughout the Midwest.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has genuine curiosity and enjoys continuous learning.
  • Has a passion for agriculture and helping producers succeed.
  • Thinks critically and enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges.
  • Is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Communicates professionally with clients, contractors, and agencies.
  • Values teamwork while taking ownership of assigned projects.

Why Employees Love Working Here

At Anez Consulting, engineering isn't just about calculations, it's about helping producers solve real problems.

Our engineers enjoy:

  • A wide variety of projects—no two days are the same.
  • Meaningful work that directly supports agriculture and rural communities.
  • Collaboration with engineers, environmental specialists, and consultants.
  • Direct interaction with clients instead of being hidden behind a desk.
  • Opportunities to grow professionally and expand your expertise.
  • A supportive, family-oriented culture where ideas are welcomed.
  • Competitive salary, excellent benefits, and flexibility that promotes work-life balance.
