Photographer Videographer Technician

We are currently seeking Photographers/Videographers/Broadcast Technicians for our 2027 tour which runs weekends late January through early June. Applicants do not have to commit to every weekend.

Travel, hotels, shuttles, car rentals and food is arranged and paid for by Headliners. For most events staff travels Friday AM and return Sunday Eve. However, the size of events is based on the number of routines needed to accommodate, and due to their size and location, may require earlier travel/later departure (Thurs Eve/Monday AM). A typical competition weekend includes set-up Friday morning/early afternoon, event Friday evening, event all day Saturday, and event all day Sunday ending around dinner time.

This a cross trained position which includes three roles (It is not necessary work all three roles however it may affect when and where you are scheduled.)

-Photo: sets up all photo equipment, help with cable management and take 30-60 photos per dance routine.

- Video: sets up the camera equipment, provide video feed to stage and backstage monitors, judges video feed and streaming computer and records each dancer on stage during their routine. Must be able to maintain a smooth shot and be able to react to shifting movement on stage.

- Broadcast Technician:  sets up video rack and checks and secures all feed connections, manages the software and monitors the stream/recordings.

EXPERIENCE AND EQUIPMENT:
- Applicant must have experience in dynamic camera work which entails following an active subjects.

- Applicants should have a working knowledge of common media cables such as HDMI, SDI, RCA, Ethernet and XLR

- Applicant should be tech savvy and comfortable with computers (Mac,Windows) and be able to troubleshoot in a calm manner.

- Must be a team player and enjoy working with others.

All production staff are also required to assist with the unloading and loading of the truck (26 foot box truck) at the venue. Staff receive additional load in/load out pay.
