Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders and shipping receipts, generating customer invoices, and managing collections to ensure timely payment.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and sub-ledger accounts, and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with inventory accounting by tracking physical inventory, reconciling warehouse receiving logs to vendor invoices, and supporting accurate inventory valuation.
  • Prepare and post standard journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments during the month-end close process.
  • Compile financial data and prepare schedules to support forecasting, reporting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Support the accuracy and integrity of accounting records across procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accounting processes align with real-time operational activity and business needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as Sage X3, preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of B2B supply chain operations, freight costs, and inventory valuation methods such as FIFO and LIFO.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
